The wind is inexhaustible source of energy on the Earth. In the course of centuries a man has been trying to master its energy building up windmills to complete different tasks through energizing mills, water and oil pumps as well as power stations. It has been consistently demonstrated in practice by many countries in the world that use of wind energy can be highly profitable because of wind’s practically “zero” cost and the fact that, in case the energy comes from wind, there is no need to burn carbon containing fuels to extract energy and thus put a human health under threat of combustion products thereof (CO, SO2…).
Continuous discharges of gases into atmosphere and other contributing factors have stimulated increase of temperature contrast on the Earth. This became one of the major reasons behind strengthening of wind constituent of overall climatic conditions in many parts of the world thereby increasing demand for newly built wind-driven power stations.
Outlying regions suffering from lack of power supply, are practically rid of any other economic alternative besides that of use of windmills as a power source.
